プロフィール

「ピリカモシリ」とはアイヌ語で「美しい大地」という意味です。

アイヌは北海道の先住民族のひとつです。
アイヌは縄文人の流れを直接受け継いでおり、その豊かな芸術性は、太古から今日までその文様の中に伝承されています。
アイヌの文様は、その生命力が特徴です。

その文様の一部を抜き出して刺繍作品を制作しています。
皆様には私の作品を通して、北海道の風や水の流れ、木々の歌を感じていただければ幸いです。
アイヌの文様と布の風合いをお楽しみください。


"Pirika moshiri" means "the beautiful earth" in Ainu's language.

Ainu is one of indigenous peoples in Hokkaido.
They have inherited Jomon lineage directly, and their gifted artistic quality has been handed down in the pattern from primeval time until today.
Ainu's pattern features the patterns with vitality.

I make embroidery works from a part of their pattern.
I am happy if you can feel a flow of wind, water and tree's songs of Hokkaido with my works.
