２つの全く異なる表情を併せ持ったプレート皿です。備前焼がもつ荒々しい岩肌のような景色と、丸い素焼きの滑らかな肌合いは、登り窯の中で炎と熱の化学現象で出来上がる風合いですので、同じものは２つと現れない貴重な製法で作られています。
皿を水で湿らせ水気の多い刺身や魚介類、果物、水菓子などをのせれば一層肌合いの違いが際立ち、乾いた状態でケーキや和菓子などをのせれば、岩肌と素焼きの柔肌の風情の違いを愉しめます。

A distinct feature of these new small plates is a unique pattern of two contrasting textures: rough rocky surface and smooth unglazed surface, which are a product of chemical reactions caused by flame and heat in the climbing kiln. No plate is the same due to the special production technique. The unique texture combination complements baked goods and Japanese style desserts. When moist, the plate distinctively exhibits the contrast and compliments food with high moisture content such as seafood including sashimi, fruits and desserts.
